Privacy
What you bring to Unstuck Faith is between you and God. This page explains, in plain language, how we handle the small amount of data that passes through the app.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and the display name you choose. That is the only personal information we ask for.
The app records usage patterns — which features you open, how often you return — so we can understand what is working and what is not. These events carry no content: we do not record what you prayed, what you wrote, or what Scripture you read.
What we do not collect
- The text of your prayers.
- Your journal entries.
- Your guidance conversations.
- Your verse notes or highlights.
- Any personally identifying information beyond your email.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not mine it for any purpose other than keeping the app working for you.
How guidance works
The guidance feature uses your input to surface relevant Scripture and reflection. Your words are used in the moment to generate a response; they are not stored, indexed, or used to train any system after that session ends.
Data retention
Your account and its associated content remain until you delete them. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app, or by visiting unstuckfaith.app/delete-account.
Third parties
We use a small number of trusted services to operate the app: cloud infrastructure for storage and sync, an analytics tool for aggregate usage data (PostHog, configured without personal identifiers), and a payment processor for subscriptions (RevenueCat / App Store / Google Play). None of these receive the content of your spiritual practice.
